Sages Gathering
September 18 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
We will gather at 12:30 p.m. in the parlor of 313 Pine St. At this month’s gathering, we will be joined by parishioner Gretchen Cowell. Gretchen will share stories from her road trip along the length of the Ohio River, and the way the river affected the history of the small towns along it. How those towns were once the gateway to the West, then bustling river towns along the boundary between slave and free states, and later had to adjust to railroads, superhighways, and engineered “improvements” in or over the river.
Bring a brown bag lunch! Hope to see you!
Sages is an energetic group of retired parishioners who meet monthly on a Wednesday for lunch and discussion. Often the meeting is accompanied by a presentation from authors, leaders in the arts, and other people of interest. All ages are welcome to attend, and friends are always welcome.
