Processing a Year of Change

The past year at St. Peter’s has held a few unexpected left-turns. While we are indeed at a different place that we were in summer or this past spring, and our Rector Search Committee is moving ahead wonderfully, hopes and fears both about the past and the future can still be powerful for us all.

To strengthen community awareness and understanding, we’ll offer two parish forums this month that will offer tools and framework to further process who we are and where we are. Such perspective will help us be as effective as possible in partnership with a new rector. Led by our interim consultant, the Rev. Dr. Susan Richardson, the forums will build on reflective work the vestry is doing, as well as the great work done in the small groups last fall by the Parish Profile Committee. Everyone in the St Peter’s community is warmly invited and encouraged to join us in the church.
