MAKE A PLEDGE
The members of St. Peter’s are vitally important to what our church is and can do in this world. Members participate in and lead our ministries, care for our building and grounds, support one another, and also make a financial commitment to the church in the form of a pledge.
St. Peter’s is fully self-funded, meaning we do not get any financial assistance from the Episcopal Church. The majority of our operating budget (60 percent) comes from money pledged by us, the members, and the rest from our endowment. We ask all members of St. Peter’s to pledge to support the church, or make a financial commitment for the year ahead. Knowing your commitment for the year helps the vestry and staff responsibly plan our programming, ministry, and outreach.
St. Peter’s values every pledge. Each of us has different means. Please give at a level that is deeply meaningful for you.
SUPPORT ST. PETER'S
St. Peter’s Church relies on the generosity of its members and friends. Your donation will support our dynamic clergy, our technology and staff, outreach and social justice initiatives, inspiring music and choir, services for children & families, our historic building and grounds, and education programs for all ages.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, is greatly appreciated. Donations may be made securely online by clicking the button below.
If you’ve made a pledge, thank you! You can fulfill your pledge by using envelopes on Sundays or setting up automatic payments directly through your bank or the church’s online donation service Realm. If you already have a Realm account, you can log in at: https://onrealm.org/StPetersChurchI and click “Sign In.”
If you don’t have an account, you can easily create one. Visit Realm and click “Sign Up.” Then, check your email for instructions on how to activate your account. Follow the instructions in the email to create a password.
In your Realm account, on the right side of your Realm dashboard, you can see your current pledge amount. In order to pay your pledge through Realm, click the blue “+Give” button and input the amount and frequency of your pledge payments. Click “Continue” and add your payment information. There is an option on this page to offset processing costs, so St. Peter’s receives your entire pledge amount. Click the blue “Give” button to complete your pledge payment set-up.
PLANNED GIVING
By making the choice to remember the church in your will or estate plans, you ensure that St. Peter’s will have the resources we need to continue our mission and ministries for many years to come. The 1761 Society recognizes parishioners who have made a commitment to the future life and ministry of St. Peter’s by remembering the parish in their estate plans. Click here to learn more.
