Led by the Rev. Ledlie I. Laughlin and friends
We believe God blesses each of us with unique gifts to draw forth and share: for ourselves as we grow as children of God, and for the benefit of others in the world about us. The Saint Peter’s community invites everyone to grow in a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. Our journey in discipleship is the way to discern our gifts and put our faith into practice.
Foundations of Discipleship is an opportunity to reflect upon where we are in this journey with Christ and with one another. Topics: Faith, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Church, Christian Discipline, the Bible, Prayer, and Eternal Life. During eight sessions together we will read Scripture, prepare a spiritual autobiography, and discuss our own experience. What’s more, we’ll build a small group of twelve or so people who grow together in trust.
Space is limited; to participate, you must sign up; contact Ledlie.
We begin with dinner on February 2, and meet on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m., February 8, 15 & 22, and March 1, 15 & 22. Participants are encouraged to join Ledlie for a silent retreat at Holy Cross Monastery, March 6-8.
